The
“O” Zone—What is health and how do we achieve
it?
Is it something to be achieved or is it a gift we are given? Health
is the maximal potential expression of your possibility both spiritually
and physically. If you have hard genetic limitations in your physical
health freedom, your spiritual expression is less limited. Maximum
health is not limited in either case. Does our given gifted potential
have anything to do with our health? The answer is no! We all have
the potential for a full expression of health because it is founded
on the reality of our spiritual potential, not physical. A limited
physical potential only unleashes our spiritual potential to a more
full dimension.
How do you achieve a healthy life? First discover, your spiritual
reality. Find out who you are, why you are, and what your highest
potential is. Second, honor your physical potential as expressed
in the emotional, nutritional, structural, and energetic areas of
your healing SENSE. Third, decide how you want to feel ten years
from now. Visualize that person, how you would look, what you would
sound like, how others would view you? How active would you be,
what kind of exercise would you do, how mindful would you be? How
must you eat, think and feel to become that person? How would that
person live, laugh, love and grow? Describe this vision vividly.
Write down the answers to all these questions. Describe yourself
vividly as you would like to be, break that vision into individual
steps and activities from each of the 5 areas of SENSE.
You now have your health template. This is your own pattern of excellence.
It contains everything that you need to make it happen. You know
everything necessary to realize that vision. It came from you and
is available to you upon your willingness to change your habits
to match this outstanding future possibility. Start today. Act now.
Begin with enthusiasm and determination and it will become your
reality rather than just your potential.
Thoughts to Ponder
Reasonable people adapt themselves to the world. Unreasonable people
attempt to adapt the world to themselves. All progress, therefore,
depends on unreasonable people.
~ George Bernard Shaw
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can
start from now and make a brand new ending.
~ Carl Bard
The universe is full of magical things patiently waiting for our
wits to grow sharper.
~ Eden Phillpots
The Truth About Chiropractic
There was a great philosopher named Hippocrates who once stated,
“We are either growing or dying.” Not to be outdone
Confucius stated, “Our lives are like that of an egg, we are
either growing or decaying.” Everyday we are exposed to chemical,
physical, and mental stresses, interpret them, and either adapt
to them and continue our growth or shrink from them and stop growing
while in a survival or protective mode.
In essence we are both growing and dying each day and it is simply
that one will predominate over the other. One is an upward spiral
of growth leading to the fulfillment and ease; the other is a downward
spiral of decay leading to death.
It is that in our society where sitting for five minutes in a drive-through
seems like an eternity. It’s a society where commercial bombard
your senses five to seven times in three minutes and that problems
are resolved in three eight-minute segments on a television program.
To then have someone shift and comprehend that all of life, including
healing, is a process and that being under care is also a lifetime
process can be a challenge.
You might want to ask yourself, if you start to exercise because
it is good for you, when do you get to a point when you can stop?
How about brushing your teeth? Eating vegetables and other healthy
foods? You can always choose to stop doing those things and that
is not a bad thing, it is just not congruent with the fullest expression
of your life’s potential. Chiropractic is removal not addition.
The absence of darkness is the presence of light. Disease is like
darkness, an absence of health. You must add light to remove the
darkness, therefore you must add health to remove its absence.

Back at Arthritis
For the first time, scientists have found human proof showing that
cod liver oil aids in slowing down, and may even reverse, the destruction
of joint cartilage in patients who suffer from osteoarthritis, a
painful and often disabling condition.
The findings suggest that cod liver oil could delay the onset of
osteoarthritis, and it could play a major role in reducing the number
of knee and hip replacements carried out. Further, taking cod liver
oil would likely reduce the harmful symptoms associated with osteoarthritis.
-86% of pre-operative patients with arthritis who took the cod liver
oil had absent or significantly reduced levels of enzymes that caused
cartilage damage.
Arthritis is one of the benefits being attributed to Cod Liver oil.
It has also been linked to decreasing symptoms of depression, decreasing
chances of cancer, and reducing inflammation. Maybe the biggest
contribution is the Omega 3 fatty acids that are abundant in the
oil.
We have sought out the best of the Cod liver oil to help you enjoy
the benefits of this power packed food. If you are committed to
stay healthy this is an essential. It is blended with mint and lemon
juice to mask the strong flavor of the oil. Cod Liver Oil works
well combined with the wonderful effects of JMT, a protocol for
treating the symptoms of arthritis and other autoimmune disorders.
