Know Your Vaccinations
Did you know when taking your children to the pediatrician there will be a new 5-in-1 vaccine available? The pharmaceutical industry is marketing it as safe and better as a collective vaccine versus individual vaccines. It reduces the number of shots given by combining them instead of eliminating unnecessary vaccinations from the schedule. The combination keeps parents from seeing their children receive 5-7 different shots, but it is “nothing more than a deceptive ‘placebo’ for concerned parents.”

The study used by the company to prove its safety compared the new vaccine against other experimental vaccines, not a controlled safe substance. Their study concluded there were “no vaccine-related serious adverse events in any group after any vaccine dose.” But they removed all reacting patients, so they didn’t complete the trial. Many adverse events did happen during the study. Two subjects were pulled for “unrelated adverse events,” one subject developed a seizure disorder after the first immunization, one had a tumor after the first shot, and six other reported events involving hospitalizations for pneumonia, meningitis and apnea. But all these events were also seen as unrelated to the vaccine.

The vaccine combination includes some scary ingredients. Antifreeze, formaldehyde mercury compound, bovine and monkey cells or blood. Another suspicious ingredient is Glutaraldehyde- a toxic chemical used for cold sterilization. Get educated before it is time to have your kids vaccinated.

Thoughts to Ponder
“There is a master key to success with which no man can fail. Its name is simplicity…reducing to the simplest possible terms every problem.”
--Henri Deterding

“Start by doing what’s necessary, then what’s possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible.”
--Saint Francis of Assisi

“We must be willing to get rid of the life we planned, so as to have the life that’s waiting for us.
--Unknown

The “O” Zone-Truth needs no defense

The truth doesn’t need protection. When we are living out of truth neither do we. We feel defensive when we are protecting a flaw, a weakness or a self-held lie. Love never needs to be defended. It is self-proclaiming. It is solid and magnificent by itself. Virtue is unassailable. The divine within is like the universe before us. It is real, grand, good, beyond comprehension, and undeniable. When we find that reality in ourselves and celebrate it we become powerful, peaceful, and purposeful. We don’t have to be big. We don’t have to be dominating. Simply being is enough. In that being, we will be as a force of nature. The wind, the rain, the roar of thunder, and the snap of lightning can only compare like a spark to the sun. We are amazing beyond our wildest dreams and visions. God has made us so. We must only accept him and ourselves as we are. We don’t need protection only self-acceptance.

Nutrition Tip
You might know that the most popular type of lettuce, Iceberg, is devoid of nearly any nutrition. But other types of lettuce are nutritionally full. The deeper the color of lettuce, the more
vitamins and nutrients it contains, and the better it is for you. Here are some alternative,
healthier greens for your salad.

     * Romaine—good source of vitamins A and C, and is packed with folate. It also contains phytonutrients lutein and zeaxanthin, which may promote eye health.
     * Arugula—one cup of this aromatic green contains 15-20% of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin A.
     * Spinach—Full of iron, vitamins A and C, and folate, it’s also high in the phytonutrients that may help protect against eye diseases.
     * Watercress—one cup provides about 20% of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin C and more than 50% of vitamin A.
     * Leaf—a good source of vitamin C and an excellent source of vitamin A.

Soy-Miracle or Malady?

New findings are lending evidence to soy not being the wonder food or supplement some had imagined. Studies on long-term effects of soy are still in early stages, but you may want to reconsider consuming large amounts of soy, especially without any meat to balance the mineral blocking effects. Soy may block the thyroid, cause hidden developmental problems in children fed soy formula, and speed up brain aging, just to name a few uncertainties. This unresolved scientific debate continues to develop. Just last October, soy enjoyed a huge boost when the FDA issued a health claim, concluding that soy may lower both cholesterol levels and the risk of heart disease. But two of the FDA’s experts on soy — Doerge and his colleague, Daniel Sheehan — have stepped forward to criticize their own agency’s claim and even attempted in vain to stop the recommendation. Their main concern: that the claim could be misinterpreted as a much broader endorsement for soy protein, beyond benefits solely for the heart. This unresolved scientific debate continues to develop.
